My dream is to move to LA. If I lose my job later this year it just may become a reality. Because then I will have money to start the process.

Then prepare yourself just in case it happens.

Why don't you make it come true the moment you ever do lose your job?

So what would you like to do in Hollywood there? Act? Write? I'm slow on this thread here Hey and ot, but where is Peru located exactly in Indiana there. I've been there a few times myself since one of my friends was from Bloomington and I had family that lives out there as well...can't remember the city though. I've been there a few times in Indiana to visit and passing through to Chicago there

Personally, I want to act. I have my eye on getting onto DAYS, GH, PASSIONS, or Y&R myself.

Acting has always been my dream. I had a difficult childhood. I always dreamed about graduating high school and moving to Hollywood and being on Days. But unfortunate things happened that prevented that.
But I would go for writing Days if Corday would give me the chance. I already have people in mind that could help me if they wanted too. Guess who?
I just figure if my factory shuts down, I would have severance pay, last paychecks and my savings to get me through. So I would have the money to finally try to achieve my dream.
Where is Peru? Good question. You are asking someone who is not good with giving directions. But I can try. Do you know Kokomo, Indiana? Peru is probably north or northeast of Kokomo.
What roads do you take to get to Bloomington? I could probably tell you more if I knew what you know. If you ever come this way again I would love to met you if you had time.

Hmm...well I wish you the best of luck if you do end up in Hollywood there. It's a tough market and I know a few people who have worked in the soap world. One of my best friends worked for Passions and Port Charles and she was so fed up with the politics of the soap opera world and the lack of creativity that a writer is forced to face at the hands of a head writer--especially one who refuses to take in ideas from anyone else on his staff there. That being said she finally quit and moved back to Chicago where she could be creative in her own element and not be a stifled talent. Still, I think that's a wonderful dream and I wish you lots and lots of luck with it out there. That would be incredible if you landed something out there. Don't forget all the little people on the way Seriously though I think it's such a fun, wonderful dream. I used to want to get into acting like forever ago, but after some acting classes and listening to just what an actor has to face in being an actor, I found I have more of a passion for writing myself. I'm working on putting together a novel eventually--in between real life there, but for now I write my own web soap opera and have a lot of fun with it. I used to write a ton of fanfiction there, but now, well now I do my web soap and it's a lot of fun. We're going to be having our 200th episode coming up very soon and that's very exciting Hmm....you know I never really paid much attention to the roads to Bloomington when I was on my way through there. I don't think I was driving at the time. I did go through Indiana on the way to Chicago and I know we passed through the state to get there. I wish I was more on the up and up with the directions. Though looking on mapquest the way we went was around the northern part of the state there. I was to Indianapolis once upon a time as well...and you know if we ever do come out that way again, I'd be more than thrilled to meet you. It sounds like fun. Anyways good luck with things out there and keep us updated on how things are going there

Still can't believe Reilly wants to keep all the "creativity" to himself and not let anyone else in. What kind of factory do you work at? And you didn't even graduate from high school?!

I work at Square D. You have probably heard of them or seen their label on electricial panelboard boxes or breakers. Sorry about the confusion. Yes I did graduate high school. Had family problems along they way but I made it. With perfect attendance and A's and B's to my credit. ;D Moving to Hollywood and being on Days was what I missed though. Life happened and I never had the chance. One thing led to another and here I still am. That's because Reilly is not only evil but selfish as well.

He thinks he's a good writer. He's really not. I give him credit for thinking outside the box (he does, so let's be honest), but the ideas could be penned out better.

Yes they could be penned better. And if they get rid of everybody having flashbacks the stories could move along faster too.
